The Reader

This morning, out of a sudden, I realized how long it has been ever since I do anything with this internet journal world (be it updating my own blog or reading others). Well, at least not as long as my “together-we-have-been-madly-updating-unimportant-verydetailed-sh**s-of-our-life” 742, who I see, last updated in the year 2008. Way to go man (and to think he was THE one who was very passionate about updating & looking at the visitors flow)
So I have decided to kick start my blogging life again for the umpteenth time. Starting with…movies (bit lame I know as I myself don’t read what other people think about movies that I know I want to watch)
Anyway, over the hols, I’ve watched some pretty good (downloaded)movies, and some pretty bad ones. And I especially love those thought provoking ones, after all those are always the ones that lingers in your mind long after you watched them.
These are the 3 movies I highly recommend :Michael Clayton, Gone Baby Gone, and The reader. They all touched on morality in different ways…what is right, what is wrong? Human nature, CHOICES and the cruel reality that is happening right at this moment. Go watch them if you have the chance
Some good quotes from The Reader
-What we feel isn’t important. It’s utterly unimportant. The only question is what we do.
-It doesn’t matter what I feel. It doesn’t matter what I think. The dead are still dead.
